I’m Maisa Immonen, an artist and cutout animator based in Helsinki. I have a background in 3D art, and recently I’ve been developing a new visual style that combines hand-painted elements with 3D animation.
I love creating small, atmospheric worlds that capture a certain feeling or memory. By combining the tactile qualities of traditional painting with the possibilities of 3D, I explore playful and nostalgic ways of bringing these little worlds to life.
