Elis Sinistön Taivaat is a virtual Villa Mehu experience created by Maaseudun Sivistysliitto in 2023–2024. The digital art environment brings to life the unique, now-lost world of Finnish life artist Elis Sinistö and his hand-built, mystical village located in the forest of Veklahti, Kirkkonummi. Over time, nature gradually reclaimed the site as part of itself.
For the project, we selected seven locations from Villa Mehu and created a virtual environment around them. I 3D-modeled each structure and created my own artistic interpretation of them. The complete experience was built on the ThingLink platform, where visitors can explore and sense the atmosphere of Villa Mehu virtually.
ITE-helmiä Uudellamaalla virtual map is a project by Maaseudun Sivistysliitto completed in 2024, creating an interactive virtual map of ITE art and cultural sites in the Uusimaa region.
In the project, I modeled the sites into my own 3D versions using VR design, aiming to highlight their unique character and atmosphere. The sites were rendered in 360 degrees using Blender and compiled on the ThingLink platform, allowing users to explore them immersively.
